Golden Age of Television
The Golden Age of television is believed to have began in the late 1940's and extended to the early 1960's. This was the time period when many new movies and popular television shows were introduced. The truth behind this all is that the golden age of television is going on right now. Technology has been completely advanced and television is watched in America just about anywhere. Apple has created all of its software for people to have the ability to watch tv anytime they want. Car companies have been television in their models for family entertainment. Almost every single home in America has a television. Television is made for entertainment and people sometimes get too entertained and get "hooked" to a certain show or series. Television has made people have an addiction nowadays and that is exactly why we are in the Golden Age of television.

Yo Liam you are spot on. The golden age of television is modern day. Many people dont realize how popular T.V. shows and series have become. It is unheard of to ask a person what their favorite T.V. show is and for them to have no answer. T.V. is dominating many peoples lives nowadays and its becoming a necessity.
ReplyDeleteIt also seems like it is not longer hip, the way it used to be, to say that one doesn't watch TV. Now, TV is a cultural center. I wonder, though, why you think the current age is THE singular golden age. The article we read talks about many golden ages of TV, one in the 50s and 60s, one in the 80s, and one today. What is better about the current era? Or if not better, what makes it distinctive?
